VOYAGE OVER LAND AND SEA ON A WING AND A PRAYERJuliet Holmes Court makes sublime use of colour in these oil paintings on waxed canvas. They're easy on the eye, untaxing for the brain and feature almost nothing but feathers, mist and light. They were inspired by an experience akin to flying that occurred during the artist's childhood. A detail from Voyage Over Land and Sea on a Wing and a Prayer is pictured.Australian Galleries, 24 Glenmore Road, Paddington, 9380 8744.
